Maintain Emphasis on Literacy and Numeracy

Educators in high performance learning communities know that without certain practical skills, student achievement will be severely limited. In order to take full advantage of learning options offered to them, students at all grade levels need ample opportunity to develop necessary foundational skills. Reading and mathematical skills development are integrated throughout the curriculum. Additionally, literary resources, such as outside reading material and library/media center, are readily available and are used to aid instruction.
