Components: As
should be clear, if people do not know how to do something they will
not do it, or at least not do it well. For each of the dimensions
there is a significant skill and knowledge component that is
required. For example, teachers who are not well prepared to engage
parents, provide standards-based instruction, or work cooperatively
with community agencies will not be able to do any of those things
effectively, if at all. They will certainly not do so with the
levels of fidelity and skill necessary for adequate implementation
to ensure the success of all students. |
